Cody Johnson Pittsburgh Concert reviews
Could have been better...
We have not been to Yuengling Center before and now we know better. Our seats were in the 300 section which are bleacher style seats with no backs. The sound quality of the first band was horrible and not worth listening to. After 30 minutes our butts and backs were sore, so we went to get a drink, good luck! The lines were so long you had to stand for a half an hour, no thanks. We went back in and listened to the next group, stood against the back wall. The sound quality was much better, but we didn't make it much longer. We left and didn't get to see Cody Johnson, it was a waste of money.
Cody Johnson Concert
Cody Johnson Concert was Wonderful!
I have 3 Complaints…. There should be a RULE that states Do not stand up unless you’re getting up to leave your seat. We could not see because the people in front of us was standing instead of sitting down. There was constant loud talking behind us that prevented us from enjoying the concert. Last, someone above us threw Beer that landed on our clothing and in our hair. Doing something like that could have really caused some major confusion during the concert. Between the three, the people standing was the worst. There needs to be a rule to stay seated unless you’re getting up to leave your seat. Thanks.
The Pit Sucks
I purchased front row seats at a hefty price, figuring I would have a great view for the concert. WRONG! The Pit was a large area between the stage and the front row, which was standing room only. The front row was really like being in the 15th row with so many people standing up in front of us. Our view was heavily obstructed. All three acts put on a great show, especially Cody. I understand why Cody enjoys having a pit area, because he can interact with the fans and feed off their reactions. He is full of energy and a great performer. I would not recommend spending the money for front row seats if there is a pit area around the stage. Definitely misleading and wasn't worth the money spent for those seats, even though I'm a big fan.
Good performer - horrible event
I saw Cody johnson last year and it was the best concert I've ever been to, so I had high hopes going into this concert. However, my group was massively let down. It took us over an hour to park as the people directing traffic seemed to have no idea what was going on. Then when we get in it was a madhouse. Finally, after finding our seats - which was nowhere near what we thought we paid for - we only saw 1/2 of the second openers show. I say saw because with there only being 2 speakers by the stage, you couldn’t understand or hear anything the performers were playing. The sound got a little better for Cody Johnson, but overall still hard to hear. Then after all of that we had to walk a mile back to our car in the pouring rain because the shuttles that took us to the event were nowhere to be seen. Would not recommend this venue to anyone.
